April 18-20, 2008.
These are the dates of Team Sol Cal's 8th (yes, Ocho!) annual Vegas
Invasion meet. We expect this year's invasion to be the largest ever.
Last year we had well over 60 sols invade Vegas. Vegas Invasion VIII
will be more popular than ever as the word rapidly spreads. |

What's on the
menu? On Friday, April 18, 2008, Sols from all over the U.S.
will begin their decent onto Vegas. There will be a huge Meet &
Greet party that will probably get closed down early ... you can NEVER
trust 75+ Sol enthusiasts. Saturday the meet will take place. This
year, we will be hosting the event at a Bonanza Lounge Bar & Grill. They
are hooking us up with a huge parking lot, tables, chairs, and great
deals on food and drinks. {TBD} Sunday morning will mark the end of the meet with
the Goodbye breakfast, probably at the Orleans buffet. Be sure to
check the official Agenda for times and places. |

Looking for rooms? So far we are leaning towards the Imperial Palace this year. Tenative details are in the works and we are checking with them for special room rates....STAY TUNED!! |

Sol Trains:
There will be Sol trains from all over so if you do not want to drive
by yourself, don't worry. Check the forums on Team Sol Cal, Sol Society,
Team Sol Colorado, and AZ Sols for several cross-country trains heading to
Vegas. |

What to Bring:
Besides yourself, your sol, and a friend, we have a few recommendations
of items everyone should bring. These items are recommended from 7
year's of experience, so please consider them seriously. Sun screen,
fold-up chairs, drinks, snacks, alcohol for the Meet & Greet Party
(BYOB), small tool kit, sun glasses, water, towels, camera, batteries,
jacket... |
